Omega Speedmaster Professional it’s an iconic symbol in horology and it’s already known as a “strap monster”. This particular Speedy is very special for us, we bought it 7 years ago and I don’t think that any other Speedy has seen more leather straps than this one. Over the years, We’ve created hundreds of leather straps for it. Let me show you my top 3 recommendations. 

3. Blue Alligator leather strap

In the third place, I chose this padded Blue Alligator leather strap. This strap instantly transforms the Speedmaster into a more elegant watch. The contrast between the sportiness of the Speedmaster and the elegance of the alligator leather is fascinating. That’s why the speedy is called a “strap monster” in the first place. It just looks great with so many leather types and strap designs.

2. Horween Sienna leather strap

For the second place I chose a leather that we recently introduced, which is called Horween Sienna. Being thin and flexible, the leather strap feels great on the wrist. Even though the leather is thin, it’s also very durable and resistant to scratches. Horween Sienna has a slight pebble texture that is very smooth to the touch.

1. Brown Barenia leather strap

My favorite leather strap is the Brown Barenia leather & ecru stitching. This leather is supple and smooth and develops a beautiful patina over time. Not to mention that it’s one of the most comfortable leather straps I have ever worn. This particular brown color creates a delightful contrast to the black dial. I love the fact that makes the watch more suitable for casual occasions.
